Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Getder apps, this website, and the services we offer. By creating an account or using Getder, you agree to them.

Getder is currently pre-launch. Until we go live, this website lets you join the waitlist; the terms below describe how the service will operate.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Getder. Drivers must additionally hold a valid licence and meet our vehicle and documentation requirements.

You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens under it. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

Getder is a marketplace that connects riders who want a trip with independent drivers who provide it. Getder itself does not provide transportation.

We show the fare before you book. Drivers accept trips at that price, and riders agree to pay it.

Fares are shown upfront in Ghana cedis and calculated from distance, time, and the ride type you choose.

You can pay by cash, Mobile Money, or card. Card and Mobile Money payments are processed by our payment partner.

Drivers may operate on a free plan (where Getder takes a small commission per trip) or a paid plan (where Getder takes no commission). The current plans are shown on our website and in the driver app.

Treat other people with respect. Riders and drivers must follow the law, avoid unsafe behaviour, and not use Getder for anything illegal.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, put others at risk, or abuse the service.

You can cancel a trip before it begins. Repeated late cancellations may affect your ability to use the service, and a cancellation fee may apply once a driver is on the way.

Getder is provided on an "as is" basis. We work hard to keep it reliable but cannot guarantee it will always be available or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Getder is not liable for the conduct of riders or drivers, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Ghanaian courts.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
